New Owners

Welcome to "The Silver Spur Saloon"

located in downtown Love Valley...Cowboy Capitiol of North Carolina. Come on in & pull up a chair for some good ole "Southern Hospitality",dance to one of your favorite bands, or just hang out with the new owners,Bob & Judy. You'll see lots of renovations since January of 2006 (ladies you'll love the restrooms, so will the guys), thats when the new owners took over the Business. When people ask,"How did you Yankees end up in Love Valley?" They tell their story: Judy's son Curtis, who lives in Galax, Va. had been coming to "The Valley" with his buddies for some time, called us one day & said, "You gotta come see this place, you won't believe it". So, about 7 years ago,we packed up our gear, loaded up our horses & headed to "Love Valley" to see what it was all about, needless to say, that was the 1st. of many trips to North Carolina. Curtis was right, we couldn't believe it until we saw it for ourselves, & just like him & so many others, we were "hooked", & every vacation after that was a "Love Valley" vacation. Where else can you go on vacation with your horses,ride into an "Old West Town" tie up at the hitchin rail,go in the Saloon through the old swinging doors to the sounds of the ole player piano & order an ice cold beer? If beer isn't your favorite beverage, how about a wine cooler (many to choose from), or a shot or two of our newest of drinks, the "Johnny Bootlegger", Grape, or Sour Apple malt drink, or a "Captain Morgan". Go back in time as you see the cowboys & cowgirls in town,rather it be on horseback,in a covered wagon, buggy, or carriage...the "Valley" has it all....did I mention NO MOTORORIZED vehicles on main street, & that horses have the "Right Of Way"...thats right!! The "Silver Spur" is a 21 & Over club & hosts a different band every weekend with a minimal cover charge. We've had customers in the "Spur" from as far away as Canada, Hawaii, & from over seas (Italy,Japan)..It's always interesting to hear others stories on how they too ended up in "The Valley". However you end up here -- you're gonna love it! So, if you're looking for a Relaxing, "Unique" vacation with lots of "tales" to take back home with you to share, we invite you to pack up your gear & head for "The Valley". You won't believe it either, & we promise, "You'll Be Back". Who knows, you might even end up moving here like we did!
